SSI as the Project Manager: Studies, air quality permitting, detailed design, testing and startup for a 1.2 MW gas turbine-based cogen plant with absorption chillers for St. John’s Hospital & Health Center, Santa Monica in 1991 including an RO desalination plant producing high purity water for NOx reduction in the gas turbine.
 

SSI was awarded a contract from the Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Office to develop, study and design a 4 MW power with seawater desalination plant to be located in Carlsbad, San Diego County.
